This passport was handwritten by KCJ on 10th November, 1993 at the Regional Passport Office, Bangalore. The permission was given by Vasantha G Krishnan, approved by the Ministry of External Affairs, Republic of India.

The only Indian to be allowed to write his own passport, KCJ is one of the finest living examples of Cicero’s quote:

“Natural ability without education has more often raised a man to glory and virtue than education without natural ability.”
